  • Western BBQ- Country buffet with all the fixins and live country-western music for a hoedown at 8000 feet. Space is limited and reservations are required. (866) 604-4171) 
  • First Tracks - Get on the hill before anyone else every Wednesday and Saturday, for an extra fee. (Weather permitting). 
  • Spring Gruv - 10 days of mayhem, live music in the Plaza, prizes and games including the infamous Pond Skimming Contest, starting the last week in March.

Overview

Anyone who complains that there's nothing to do at The Canyons has never been to The Canyons. From hitting First Tracks to snowshoeing to gourmet dining, you'll never need to leave the resort and its luxury properties.

Spa-ing
The Canyons Grand Summit Spa & Health Club and the Serenity Spa by Westgate feature all of the usual spa services including massage, manicures, facials, body treatments. Just down the road in the WaldorfAstoria Park City, indulge at the Golden Door Spa; 16,000 square feet of serenity. With Indian influenced steam rooms, Aqua Purification Showers, women's relaxation room, 15 treatment rooms, a fitness center and hair and nail salon, you just may never make it to the slopes. You can even sign up for life coaching.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides
30-minute scenic sleigh rides through Willow Draw culminate with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages at Doc’s in The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel. After the ride, sit down to a four-course, family style dinner at The Cabin Restaurant.

Groomer Ride Along
Get a first-hand look at what it takes to groom 4,000 acres when you take a 2-hour ride in a state-of-the-art snow cat with a highly trained snowcat operator. 

Groomer Ride and Drive
Not enough to ride shotgun in a snowcat? Be a heavy equipment operator and learn how to drive your own when you go through the same first-night training The Canyons gives their new operators. Depending on your progress, you could be driving, tilling, pushing snow and grooming a full run in your 8-hour shift. 

Heli ski tours
Wasatch Powderbird Guides has a landing pad near The Canyons where helicopters await to hover you into the Wasatch backcountry for untracked Utah powder.

Snowshoe Tours
Explore the terrain at The Canyons above Red Pine lodge with a guided snowshoe tour booked through the Adventure Desk in the lobby of The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel.
