Many come to the Park City area of Utah in the winter for the fabulous skiing, but while there, they discover all the other wonderful winter activities available. One can't ignore that the ski slopes have something for everyone – deep powder bowls, groomed runs, beginner slopes and terrain parks. In addition, the spectacular surrounding scenery makes taking a few runs like stepping into a picture postcard world.

However, when wanting to try something new or just wanting to take a day off the slopes, you can pick from numerous other exciting and thrilling activities. Swoosh down the Alpine Coaster, which is the longest in the world with more twists, dips and ups and downs than other similar slides.

Within close proximity to Park City, is the Utah Olympic Park serving as a training ground for athletes. Guided tours are available to the Olympic Park. Come watch the training, enjoy a museum or take a turn on the bobsled run.

Because of the well-groomed and well-marked trails, visitors can also enjoy miles and miles of snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Don't forget a dog sled ride or a horse-drawn sleigh ride. There are many ways to enjoy the blanket of fluffy white snow that covers Park City in the winter.
