Overview

Gourmet dining, spas, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, shopping, sleigh rides and mountain vistas. You can visit Park City and never leave Deer Valley.

Dining
Deer Valley is committed to food. Great food. It isn't often you'll find non-skiers hoisting trays through a mountain buffet line but locals know that the Snow Park or Silver Lake lodge lunches (where you can get to without skis) are the best in town. Fresh soups, carving stations, pastas and a salad bar, grill and sandwich stations. Anything for any appetite. At night, the Seafood Buffet and Mariposa Cafe consistently win the palettes of dining critics and romantics.

Spa
The internationally acclaimed Stein Eriksen Lodge, St. Regis Resort and Deer Valley Montage hotels have full-service spa facilities to pamper you while on vacation.

Snowmobiling
The Deer Valley-operated Summit Meadows Adventures snowmobile tours aren't at the resort but shuttles can take you to the Garff Ranch in Brown's Canyon, 10 minutes away where you can access 7,000 acres of pristine open lands. (800) 424-DEER (3337).

First Tracks
Use DV's First Tracks program for private early lift access and guided skiing from 8 - 9 a.m. Cost is $1,500 for up to eight skiers. (800) 424-deer (3337). Must be booked 10 days in advance.

Snowshoeing
Grab a pair of shoes from any number of rental or retail shops in Park City then drive up to Guardsman Pass for a spectacular hike on a groomed track that crosses the Northside and Empire Canyon areas of Deer Valley.

Shopping
Those who love to shop will drool over the designer finds at the new Shops at Montage Deer Valley. Both Silver Lake Village and Snowpark Lodge have a couple of high-end sporting good stores worth investigating. Bring home a variety of souvenirs from the Deer Valley Signatures Stores at Snow Park Lodge, Silver Lake Village and at 625 Main St. in downtown Park City.
