The weather in Utah is as varied as the terrain. In the northern mountains, the depth of snow can reach over 500 inches in the winter. And during the summer, the southern portions of the state can hit temperatures in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. But no matter where you are in the State, if you just wait a few minutes the weather is liable to change.

Utah is a state with a wide and varied climate – from the snow covered mountains of the Wasatch in the north, to the red colored rock cliffs of the southern part of the state. Park City is blessed with the experience of having four separate, glorious seasons. Probably best known for the array of winter sports, the Park City area is also picturesque during the change of seasons from winter to spring, to summer, to fall. Each season bringing with it pleasant and interesting changes in the weather.

No matter what your favorite season may be or what type of weather you enjoy the most, you will be able to find it here. Playing in the deep powder of snow in the middle of winter or hiking along the wildflower strewn trails during the summer, either is available in the area. Always remember that the weather can change at a moments notice, so be prepared for anything.
