Winter Activities & Services

Sundance is far from your typical ski resort. Since it's inception in 1969 by Robert Redford, Sundance has turned away from the beaten path that most ski resorts follow in order to become a unique get-away location. Nestled at the base of beautiful Mount Timpanogos, Sundance not only provides some of the most incredibly scenic runs you'll ever have a chance to ski, but also has a thriving art community found within the resort. Long story short – it's no surprise that Sundance was voted as a Top Ten resort by Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards.

Skiing
The 450 acres of skiable terrain at Sundance Resort offer something for every ability level, whether you enjoy alpine or cross-country skiing or snowboarding. And the lack of crowds ensures that you'll always be able to enjoy both the terrain and the stunning scenery of Mount Timpanogos and the Wasatch Range.

Arts
One of Sundance Resort's most remarkable traits is its thriving arts community. Whether you want to create your own jewelry, pottery or painting at the Art Shack, join one of the Artists in Residence for a workshop or browse through one of the unique exhibits, Sundance's arts community will inspire your inner artist. Sundance also hosts the Tree Room Author Series, a series of talks and lectures that brings popular authors and the public together.

Environment
Sundance Resort also has a long history of supporting the environment, a history which includes promoting recycling, green purchasing and alternative energy at the resort, as well as providing opportunities for visitors to enjoy and explore the beautiful mountain ecosystem through interpretive and education nature tours and programs.

The Spa at Sundance
Built of all-natural wood and providing uninterrupted views of the mountains, the Spa at Sundance is the perfect place to go for rejuvenation. Inspired by local Native American culture, experts at the Spa will help you relax through massage, body treatment, facials, nail care and more.
