Park City, Utah, is a great home base when vacationing in this beautiful state, traveling through the wilderness surrounding, or just simply stopping to check in with family, friends and business colleagues via the Internet. As with any lodgings, most have Internet access, and some even have Wi-Fi, but this may or may not be included in the price of rooms and suites. However, access is readily available through three major locations, serving laptop and non-laptop travelers.
It's vital to be able to check emails when traveling, especially for business travelers. In Park City, Utah, whether just driving through or staying for a few days, Internet access via broadband and Wi-Fi are readily available at most lodging establishments. However, if free access and/or a nibble and drink whilst accessing the Internet are preferred, then the city has three main sources with plenty of seating.
For those with laptops, the prime locations are the Park City Library at 1255 Park Avenue, the Alpine Internet Cybercafe on 738 Main and the common areas of the Treasure Mountain Inn (255 Main Street), which allows non-guests to use their facilities.
Not everyone has a laptop, though they are becoming more common place. However, all is not lost. Some lodgings and major hotels have business centers that can be accessed for free by paid guests or a small fee for daytime visitors. The Park City Library is the only location that has computers with broadband access, available from morning to night, daily, for free and for longer than an hour if booked in advance.
