Wasatch Mountain State Park is located in Heber Valley, just southeast of Park City, Utah. The park is open year round and protects an area of 22,000 acres. Wasatch Mountain State Park encompasses developed areas including camping spots, golf courses, and trails, as well as undeveloped natural scenery. Surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains, the state park is the perfect natural getaway.
Enjoy summer days in Wasatch Mountain State Park by taking a hike, going on a horseback ride, setting up a peaceful picnic, camping, or golfing. Wasatch Mountain State Park is home to two golf courses, the Mountain Course and Lake Course, known for their beauty, challenge, and for being affordable. The park also has large group facilities, RV hook-ups, and full bathrooms.
Once the snow has fallen, visitors can frequent the park to partake in cross country skiing and snowmobiling along a handful of maintained winter trails. Soldier Hollow is open for the public to enjoy skating and tubing. Soldier Hollow was the 2002 Olympic Games site for cross country events. Make sure to check out other historic sites in the park like the Historic Tate and Huber Grove. Within such close proximity to Park City, Utah, it is easy to spend some time at Wasatch Mountain State Park.
