Echo Reservoir

Northern Utah is the location of one of the best places for avid anglers – Echo Reservoir. Located just south of Echo Junction on the Weber River, the Reservoir hugs Interstate 84 along its western shore for nearly three miles. This makes Echo Reservoir one of the most visible and easily located reservoirs in Utah.

Located just north of Coalville, Utah, Echo Reservoir is easily accessible from Interstate 80. This particular reservoir is in an open setting with very few trees. It lies at an elevation of 5,560 feet and covers 1,450 acres. In addition to fishing, the Reservoir is a great place for boating, camping and/or picnicking. There is a small store, which sells fishing tackle and equipment and an assortment of sundries. There are several improved camping areas, as well as primitive camping areas surrounding the Reservoir.
